Funan Tianzhu Haoyi Hotel (Anhui Tianfu Haoyi Hotel) is a luxury business hotel built to five-star standards, located in the core area of Funan County, with convenient transportation and complete facilities. The hotel design integrates simple Chinese style with modern elegance, following the concept of "peace, tranquility, and return to nature." Its functions cover business receptions, conference banquets, leisure stays, and other diverse scenarios, making it a benchmark project for high-end business hospitality in the region.
Project Challenges and Requirements
As a benchmark high-end business hotel project in Funan, the client imposed multiple core requirements on the carpet:
• Style Adaptability: Deep integration with the hotel's design language of "simple Chinese style + modern elegance." Different functional areas must unify the theme while reflecting spatial hierarchy differences. Public areas need to create visual focal points, while guest rooms need to create a quiet and comfortable atmosphere.
• Functional Durability: In the lobby and high-traffic areas, the carpet needs to be wear-resistant, anti-trampling, stain-resistant, and easy to clean. The banquet hall and meeting rooms need good sound absorption and noise reduction performance, suitable for high-frequency business activity scenarios.
• Delivery Timeliness: The hotel's opening date is fixed. The carpet must be delivered in batches precisely according to the renovation schedule, and all areas need to be installed in a single phase, placing extremely high demands on the efficiency of production and construction coordination.
• Quality Stability: As a five-star standard hotel, the carpet needs excellent color fastness, flame retardancy, and environmental protection, passing rigorous quality tests to ensure long-term performance.

Phase 1: In-depth Communication and Design Co-creation
At the start of the project, the Dongsheng team conducted multiple in-depth meetings with the hotel management and interior design team to fully understand the hotel's design core of "integration of simple Chinese style and modern elegance."
The design team developed exclusive carpet solutions for different areas based on the hotel's spatial functions and style positioning:
★ Lobby and Public Areas: Axminster carpet was used, with camel as the main color tone, accented with red highlights. Abstract presentations of simple Chinese patterns not only highlighted the space's atmospheric texture but also created a visual focal point, deeply echoing the hotel's overall style.
★ Banquet Hall and Meeting Rooms: Printed carpet was selected. Digital printing, exquisite picture quality, simple installation, soft texture, decorative effect, wear-resistant and pressure-resistant.
★ Guest Rooms: Printed carpet was used, mainly with soft colors and simple patterns to create a quiet and comfortable resting atmosphere, while ensuring sound absorption and noise reduction. It forms a natural transition with thecolor tones of guest room carpets, while balancing wear resistance and easy cleaning needs, suitable for high-traffic scenarios.
Phase 2: Process Matching and Precision Production
After the design solutions were confirmed, the Dongsheng production team quickly intervened to match corresponding production processes for different areas, ensuring perfect realization of function and design.
"For carpets in high-traffic areas, wear resistance and stability are the core," the production leader explained. To this end, the Axminster carpet in the lobby and corridors adopted a high-density jacquard process, resulting in a thick, wear-resistant surface that resists trampling and does not fade. The Wilton carpet in the banquet hall used high-density weaving, with a grammage far exceeding industry standards, ensuring no deformation or color fading after long-term use. The tufted carpet in guest rooms used an environmentally friendly dyeing process, producing soft colors with qualified color fastness, balancing aesthetics and environmental protection.
All products underwent multiple full inspections including color fastness, flame retardancy, and wear resistance before leaving the factory, ensuring compliance with five-star hotel quality standards.
Phase 3: Batch Production Scheduling and Efficient Delivery
To ensure the hotel opened on schedule, Dongsheng activated the "dedicated project team" model, forming a special team composed of sales, production, logistics, and after-sales personnel to follow the project progress throughout.
The production plan was split into 3 batches for orderly delivery according to renovation milestones:
Batch 1: Public area carpet (lobby, leisure area) – produced and delivered to the site within 30 days, precisely delivered to coordinate with the final stage of hard decoration;
Batch 2: Banquet hall and meeting area carpet – production advanced simultaneously to ensure connection with the public area installation schedule;
Batch 3: Guest rooms–delivered last to avoid cross-contamination during construction.
A dedicated coordinator followed the project throughout, dynamically synchronizing production progress and logistics information to ensure each batch of carpet arrived on site on schedule.
Phase 4: On-Site Installation and Full Guidance
After the carpets were delivered to the site, the Dongsheng after-sales technical team simultaneously arrived to provide full installation guidance services.
The technical team guided workers in installation according to the spatial characteristics of different areas: in the lobby area, focus was on the flatness and pattern alignment accuracy of large-area carpet; in guest room corridors, attention was given to edge finishing and splicing details to ensure natural pattern transitions and no lifting; in the banquet hall, focus was on edge finishing where carpets met the stage and walls to ensure overall aesthetics.
The entire installation process lasted 30 days, with technical staff remaining on-site throughout to resolve construction issues in a timely manner until all areas passed acceptance.
