Carpet weaving is the core mid stream process in Dongsheng Carpet’s full industrial chain. It takes the strengthened yarn from the upstream twisting and setting stage and, through professional weaving processes, turns it into semi finished carpet, providing a qualified base material for downstream finishing. This determines the carpet’s pattern, structure and durability.

Carpet Weaving Process Flow
This process takes precise pattern, stable structure and adaptation to subsequent precision finishing as core goals, with standardized operation throughout the process to ensure consistent quality of semi-finished carpets.

Reinforced Yarn Receiving and Inspection
Receive qualified yarn from the twisting and setting process, inspect yarn strength, twist and color fastness, screen out unqualified yarn to ensure weaving raw materials meet standards and avoid yarn breakage and color difference.

Yarn Preparation and Warping
Classify and card yarn according to weaving process requirements, use warping equipment to make yarn arrange evenly with consistent tension, laying a foundation for subsequent drawing-in, sleying and weaving.

Drawing-in and Sleying
Cooperate manually and mechanically to pass warp yarn through heddles and reeds, precisely control yarn spacing, ensure no yarn entanglement or skipped stitches during weaving and guarantee carpet surface flatness.

Weaving Processing
We adopt varied weaving methods for diverse uses -Machined Axminster / Wilton weaving reproduces patterns and controls carpet density and thickness.
Hand tufting customizes pile height for 3D textures, suited for high-end bespoke art carpets.

Semi-finished Product Initial Inspection and Repair
After weaving, inspect the carpet surface for defects such as pattern, density, yarn breakage and skipped stitches and conduct on-site repair of minor defects to ensure qualified semi-finished products.

Finished Product Cutting & Coding
Finished carpets are cut to order-specified dimensions and marked with product information and batch numbers to facilitate seamless follow-up finishing processes and full quality traceability.
Quality Control Standards
Raw Material Adaptation Standards
Carpet yarns must meet specified standards for strength, twist, color fastness and other indicators, free of oil stains and defects. The weaving process parameters shall be adjusted in accordance with yarn characteristics during product process design to ensure stable weaving production.
Environmental and Safety Standards
No hazardous gas or dust emission during weaving, meets workshop environmental standards, compliant with full industrial chain environmental control requirements.
Carpet has no odour, no hazardous residues and can directly enter finishing.
