The Sultan Haji Ahmed Shah Mosque is located in the Kuantan campus of the International Islamic University (IIUM) in Malaysia. As the core place for daily prayers for all the teachers, students and local residents, it has strict requirements for floor decoration.
Project Challenges
1. The carpet patterns and tones need to deeply integrate the regional features of Malaysia and elements of Islamic traditional culture.
