How Is Wilton Carpet Made? Tour Dongsheng’s Woven Carpet Workshop

Dongsheng Carpet runs 21 Wilton looms imported from Belgium and Germany, including Van de Wiele weaving machines. We provide custom production for Wilton Area Rugs and Wall-to-Wall Wilton Carpet.

This video shows our actual weaving workshop, running machinery, yarn weaving process and finished carpets in different patterns.

Dongsheng uses double rapier weft insertion and face-to-face weaving. Some looms can produce patterns with up to 10 colours and weaving density up to 1.5 million stitches. Final specifications depend on the carpet construction.

We offer custom patterns, colours, dimensions, pile height, weaving density and backing solutions, subject to production technology and project requirements.
