This New Chinese-style blue and white ink-wash carpet is a machine-woven Axminster jacquard carpet designed for high-end hotel guest rooms. It is made from a blended yarn consisting of 80% New Zealand wool and 20% nylon. The blue and white gradient ink-wash patterns are created through yarn dyeing rather than surface printing.
It features a jute backing, an adjustable pile height of 7–12 mm, and an adjustable weight of 1200–2500 g/m². It meets the flame retardancy standards of ASTM E648 Class 1 and GB 8624 B1. The carpet pile offers sound absorption, noise reduction, and a comfortable underfoot feel, making it suitable for wall-to-wall installation in star-rated hotel guest rooms and suites.

The wool provides a warm and soft underfoot feel, while the Nylon 66 fibers enhance pile resilience. This ensures the pile resists matting even with long-term use in guest rooms. Distinct from the heavy-duty style of public commercial spaces, it highlights a light luxury texture and residential comfort.

The blue and white freehand ink-wash patterns are woven directly using dyed yarns, ensuring natural color transitions.
