Dongsheng Carpet Group has built three major technological innovation research and development platforms in the industry, namely, provincial key enterprise technology center, provincial industrial design center and provincial engineering laboratory, and has first-class product design and research and development capabilities. Dongsheng Carpet Group is also the vice chairman unit of Carpet Professional Committee of China Arts and Crafts Association, the vice chairman unit of China Carpet Standardization Association, the standing director unit of China Hemp Textile Industry Association, and the main drafting unit of GB/T14252-2008 Woven Carpet.

At the same time, relying on the Academy of Arts and Crafts of Tsinghua University, Shandong Textile Science Research Institute, Qingdao University, Tianjin Lanbao Carpet Research Institute and other scientific research institutes to jointly carry out new product research and development. It has undertaken a number of national and provincial technological innovation and development projects. Among them, the project of composite negative oxygen ion health carpet won the second prize of provincial science and technology progress; The project of modified jute functional woven carpet won the third prize of Shandong Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award. The new product of high-grade environment-friendly polylactic acid fiber woven carpet has obtained the national invention patent. And won the title of "China Patent Shandong Star Enterprise".
